CRAFTSMANSHIP

Enamel, being a mineral substance derived from glass offers, once melted with metal, a high resistance to temperature variations. It thus allows to inlay by mere heating at high temperature drawings and inscriptions that are then totally weatherproof. Sheet metal is enamaled in spray-gun applied successive layers: black enamal on both faces, then white on the front face, each colour heated at 800 degrees centigrades. The plate thus enamaled is then decorated. The later inscription of personalized messages is completed by direct serigraphy.

Each plate is thus processed through at least three hoven firings.
